Hey, I’m Kelly Martin, tattoo artist and owner of Bugpin Tattoo Studio. I’ve been tattooing for 11 years, and my work includes fine-line illustrative tattoos and American traditional designs in both color and black and grey.

My experiences working in different studio spaces helped me figure out what I wanted to create with Bugpin. As someone with ADHD, the environment I work in makes a big difference. I wanted a calm, comfortable space where I could focus on my art and somewhere I would feel just as comfortable getting tattooed myself.

I opened Bugpin in 2024 with that vision in mind: a private, appointment-only studio where artists and clients can feel welcome, relaxed, and comfortable being themselves. Creating an inclusive space is personal to me, and that care is part of how I run the studio.

Flint’s local art community has been a big part of my life, so opening a studio right downtown has always felt like the right fit. Bugpin is more than a place where I work, it’s a space I’ve built with care, in a community that feels like home.

Iram is a tattoo artist with over four years of experience and thrives on variety in his work. His true passions lie in creating stunning watercolor pieces, vibrant color designs, textures that look like other mediums (pencil, paint, water color, oil, etc), liquid renderings, custom designs and erotic themes.

As a tattoo artist, his main goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment in the shop, where all clients feel comfortable and empowered. He is especially dedicated to supporting and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community as well as those on the neurodivergent spectrum. Iram strives to help all of his clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin!

When he's not tattooing, you can find him indulging in his love for animals, videogaming, creating props and costumes and enjoying all things nerdy, like exploring worlds in Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPGs!

We’d like to officially introduce you all to our artist, Rosie Cole!

Rosie is focused on creating a cozy, judgment-free, and welcoming environment for every client is incredibly important to her.

Rosie has been tattooing for 5 years and specializes in vibrant, colorful illustrative work. She loves bringing videogame concepts, anime, beloved characters, and animals to life through her art.

Outside of tattooing, she’s usually gaming (currently immersed in Final Fantasy XIV and Elden Ring), building model kits, sketching, painting, spending time at the arcade or watching 90 Day Fiancé.
